The meeting called to order on June 4th at 1:10 PM by Club President Ron Miller.
The minutes for May were introduced. A motion was made by Bill Lancaster, seconded, and passed to accept the minutes as read.
The Treasurer’s Report was submitted. We have sold 128 tables for the Train Show thus far. The report was accepted as presented.
A Lionel speeder for the kiddie’s layout was purchased by Wiley Starnes. The speeder was on display during the meeting, and making its way around the layout.
Ed explained our insurance coverage as it pertains to personal property. Inventories of equipment, yours or clubs, should be taken as soon as possible, just in case.
Bill Lancaster installed a cabinet for ladies purses in the kitchen.
The raffle layout needs to be completed now that nearly all items are on-hand.
Betty suggested adding clinics to the work day/business meeting day so layouts can be run without interruption on run day. Clinics could be started 15 minutes following business meeting. Ed Neill made a motion to that effect, to which Bill Lancaster seconded. There being no further discussion, the motion passed.
Bill Lancaster solicited assistance in areas of responsibility for the coming show.
The meeting adjourned at 2:20 PM.
